Boho Princess

How To Style:

1. Dry hair using a blow dryer and a round brush.

2. Create a center parting about 2-3 inches deep from the hairline. Next, create a section downward along the side to the ear. Begin a soft French braid along the top and down the side to frame the face. Once you get to the ear level, transition to a regular braid or a fishtail braid that hangs freely. Move to the other side and begin the same braiding process along the top and sides. You may also keep the other side braid-free. If so, simply sweep up the side lengths and add them to the rest of the hair in the back area.

3. Section off the back into two areas by dividing your hair horizontally from ear to ear. Take the top crown section and backcomb lightly. Create a soft, three-strand braid and tie the end with a snag-free rubber band or hair tie. Loosely twist into a soft bun and secure with a few bobby pins. Next, take the hair in the nape section and create another three-strand braid. Twist it into another small bun in the nape area and secure with bobby pins.

4. Gently pull out a few strands along the fringe area for a soft finish.

 How To Style:

1. Dry hair using a blow dryer and a round brush.

2. Using a large barrel curling iron, curl medium-sized horizontal sections of hair and secure with pin curl clips. Be sure to to curl the top and side sections up and away from the face. Allow curls to cool and set for 10 minutes.  Once cooled, gently remove the clips and be careful to not disturb the curl.

3. Next, create 5 sections: One along the fringe area, one on either side, a fourth section in the back from crown area down to the occipital bone (parallel to the ear) and the fifth and last section in the nape area below the ear.  Gently secure each area with a large duckbill clip.

4. Begin in the fourth section (the back crown area) by smoothing the hair into a ponytail. Allow the curls to fall into place. Then move on to the fifth section, the nape area. Create a second ponytail and allow the curls to gently fall.

5. Move on to the side sections and brush lightly to smooth. Create a soft twist and pin into place by securing with bobby pins.

6. Lastly, move to the top fringe area and backcomb lightly for volume and height. Gather hair and twist while gently pushing forward toward face to create height. Secure into place with bobby pins. Using your fingertips, carefully define any curls which have lost their shape. Accent the fringe area with a vintage pin curl.
