If you have naturally wavy locks, here's how to make the most of them, courtesy of Jenna Spino of Maxine Salon in Chicago
Keep your hair well-hydrated
Don't over-wash it, says Spino, but plan for a shampoo every few days. All second-day hair needs is a re-fluff and a bit of product. Put in a leave-in conditioner or oil right out of the shower, and don't be afraid to apply generously.
Avoid Brushing
"Simply combing wavy hair in the shower will eliminate tangles," Spino says, if you feel your wave is uneven or frizzy, try twirling it around your fingers while wet, then let it dry in place and don't touch until completely dry. If you prefer to blow-dry, don'tover di it or it will become frizzy. For best results, either air-dry or use a diffuser attachment with your blow dryer
